Dogs may need a barrier around the head after surgery or when they have a skin concern or injury they could lick or bite. SUNFURA’s soft cone is made for these recovery situations, with a fabric construction and adjustable fastening designed to help keep the protective collar in place while limiting direct access to the affected area.

How does the SUNFURA dog cone help protect a recovery area?

The cone helps prevent your dog from biting or excessively licking injuries, skin issues, and post-surgery wounds. Its protective shape creates a barrier between your dog’s mouth and the area that needs shielding, supporting use during recovery.

• Intended for protection from licking and biting.
• Suitable for post-surgery wounds, injuries, and skin concerns.

What is the SUNFURA soft cone made from, and how does it feel?

The cone is made with breathable mesh fabric and has a soft, lightweight construction. The soft material is designed to minimize skin rubbing, making the collar a fabric-based option for dogs that need a protective barrier.

• Mesh fabric forms the cone’s breathable covering.
• The soft construction is intended to reduce rubbing against the skin.

How does the SUNFURA dog cone fasten and adjust?

A durable hook-and-loop closure makes the collar easy to put on and remove, while the built-in drawstring adjusts around the neck. Loosen or tighten the drawstring to improve the fit and help keep the cone from slipping off.

• Hook-and-loop fastening opens and closes for putting on or removing the collar.
• The drawstring can be tightened or loosened around the neck.

SUNFURA says the cone suits most dog breeds, but fit depends on your individual dog. Before choosing it, compare your dog’s neck size with the adjustable fit and make sure the dog’s head is not longer than the cone’s depth.

This soft recovery collar is suited to dog owners looking for a breathable barrier to help limit licking or biting after surgery or around an injury or skin issue. Its mesh fabric, hook-and-loop fastening, and adjustable drawstring make it a protective cone with an adjustable neck fit.
