After surgery, dogs need a recovery option that fits their body and allows everyday movement. Its suit format is intended to support comfortable recovery without the restrictions associated with wearing a cone.

What is the Surgi~Snuggly recovery suit designed for?

The Surgi~Snuggly is designed for dogs recovering after spay or neuter surgery. The body-covering suit offers an alternative to traditional e-collars, and its stretch fabric is made to let dogs move comfortably. The brand’s design claim is that freedom of movement and a comfortable fit promote quicker recovery; results are not guaranteed.

• Suitable for both male and female dogs.
• Designed to avoid the discomfort of wearing an e-collar.
• The clean textile has a no-funk, no-smell claim.

How do I choose the XLS size?

XLS, or Xtra Large Short, fits a dog with a spine measurement from 19 to 22 in (48.3 to 55.9 cm). Surgi~Snuggly’s WaGS sizing system considers weight, girth, and spine length, so compare all three measurements when choosing a fit.

• The full range includes 14 sizes and 7 colors.
• XLS is a short-length size, with the spine range as its stated fit guide.

How does the suit go on, and can my dog use the bathroom?

The suit opens at the back for dressing, and its design allows pee and poo breaks without removing the suit. There are no snaps or zippers, and you do not need to cut holes for bathroom access.

• Open the back to put the suit on.
• Bathroom access is built into the design.
• The stretch textile is breathable, soft, and custom-milled for this suit.

Surgi~Snuggly was invented by veterinarian Dr. Paul O. Williams and his wife, and the company began in 2008. The suit is veterinary-approved and uses breathable stretch textile with American sourcing standards. The company has more than 13 years of experience in veterinary and pet-health environments.

This suit is suited to dog owners seeking a wearable recovery option for a male or female dog after spay or neuter surgery. Its XLS fit is intended for dogs whose spine measures 19–22 in (48.3–55.9 cm), and it provides bathroom access without snaps, zippers, or cutouts.
