After surgery, a dog may need protection for an abdominal wound while going about everyday activities. This recovery suit is made for that post-operative period, including recovery after spay or neuter surgery. Its wearable design offers a covered option for dogs who need help avoiding licking and scratching, without relying on a traditional plastic e-collar.

What is the Spark Paws Dog Recovery Suit designed to do?

The suit is designed to help prevent licking and scratching around abdominal wounds while supporting a cleaner, more comfortable recovery. Its full-coverage construction helps reduce exposure to dirt and scratching, and is also intended to help reduce skin irritation. This makes it relevant for post-surgical abdominal protection, including after spay and neuter procedures.

• Made for recovery after surgery, including spay and neuter.
• Provides abdominal wound coverage.

Can a dog eat, sleep and move while wearing it?

Yes. Spark Paws positions this wearable recovery suit as a soft alternative to a plastic cone, designed to allow dogs to eat, sleep and move freely. The flexible fit and simple on-and-off design are intended to make it straightforward to wear during longer recovery periods.

• Designed as an alternative to a traditional plastic e-collar.
• Made for all-day wear during recovery.

What is the suit made from, and is it made for repeat use?

The Spark Paws Dog Recovery Suit uses the brand’s signature soft, stretchable and breathable fabric. The fabric is made to resist pilling and maintain its shape, supporting repeated use during recovery. These material qualities describe the suit itself; they do not replace the purpose of covering a dog’s abdominal recovery area.

• Soft, stretchable and breathable fabric.
• Designed to resist pilling and maintain its shape through repeated use.

This suit is suited to dog owners looking for wearable abdominal coverage after surgery, particularly when they want an alternative to a plastic cone that allows eating, sleeping and movement. It is intended for post-surgical recovery rather than general clothing: its defining features are abdominal coverage and a flexible, breathable fabric made for repeated wear.
