TARARIUM Aquarium Filter for Turtle Tanks, 37.9–151 L, 222 GPH Adjustable Flow

The TARARIUM aquarium filter is a powered filter for turtle and fish tanks, with adjustable flow, a 222 GPH (840 L/h) pump and 10W power for 10–40 gal (38–151 L) aquariums.

• Double-sided white-and-black mesh sponge — catches debris, fish waste, leftover food, plant leaves and fine particles.
• Ceramic bio-balls with open pores and a large surface area — help absorb odor and discoloration and break down waste.
• Adjustable water flow — lets you set the flow to suit different tank needs.
• Freshwater and saltwater use — supports a range of aquatic tank setups.
• Waterfall-style outlet and top-lid canister — adds water aeration and makes media access convenient.

Aquatic turtles and fish can leave waste and food residue in their tanks, while leaves and smaller particles also collect in the water. This filter combines mechanical and biological media with a powered, adjustable flow, making it suitable for aquarium setups that need debris capture and waste processing. Its stated applications also include reptiles, frogs and amphibians.

How does the TARARIUM filter process tank waste?

The filter uses a two-sided mesh sponge for debris capture and ceramic bio-balls as biological media. The sponge catches visible debris and finer particles, including fish waste, food residue and plant leaves. The bio-balls provide porous surface area that helps absorb odor and discoloration and break down waste to improve water quality.

• The sponge has white and black mesh sides.
• The media is arranged across stages 1 and 2 for debris capture, followed by stage 3 ceramic bio-balls.
