• 60 soft chews for dogs — a chew format for situational use or a daily wellness routine.

Thunder, fireworks, car rides, vet appointments, grooming, visitors and changes in routine can all bring temporary challenges for dogs. Calm & Confident is made for those moments when a dog needs additional support to stay at ease, including travel, training sessions, social situations, new environments and temporary separation. It can be used before a planned event or when an unexpected situation calls for support.

What is Calm & Confident designed to support?

VetriScience Calm & Confident is formulated to help manage occasional stress and support balanced behavior. The veterinarian-developed formula combines Colostrum Calming Complex with L-Theanine and Thiamine (Vitamin B1), which are included to support relaxation and normal nervous system function. Its intended calming effect does not rely on sedation, and the formula is designed to help dogs remain themselves rather than alter their personality or energy level.

• Situations include storms, fireworks, travel, vet visits, grooming and guests.
• Also suited to routine changes, training, social settings and unfamiliar environments.

How quickly does it work, and how long does support last?

The chew is designed to begin working within 30 minutes, with support lasting up to 4 hours. That timing makes it suitable for preparing for a known event as well as responding to a stressful moment that arises unexpectedly. The stated duration is a support window, not a guarantee of a particular response for every dog.

• Can be used for specific situations or as part of a daily wellness routine.
• Non-drowsy formulation is intended to promote calm without unwanted sedation.

Who can use these calming chews?

Calm & Confident is designed for small, medium and large dogs. The 60-count pack provides soft chews for use as needed or within an ongoing routine when additional support is helpful. The product’s former name was Composure; it now has refreshed VetriScience packaging and retains the same formula.

• Veterinarian-formulated with input from scientists and veterinarians.
• Used in veterinary clinics across the United States, with trust from more than 15,000 clinics.
• The brand calls it vets’ number-one calming chew and identifies it as a preferred choice in veterinary clinics.

What quality checks and certifications does it have?

The supplement is certified by the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) and routinely undergoes third-party testing for quality, safety and ingredient integrity. The formula excludes hidden ingredients, artificial flavors, synthetic colors and preservatives. VetriScience describes the calming formula as clinically tested, with its clinically proven performance claim tied to the stated onset and duration.

• Contains no artificial flavors, synthetic colors or preservatives.
• The formula has been relied on by pet parents and professionals for decades under the Composure name.

These chews are suited to dog owners seeking non-sedating support for occasional stress, planned events or a daily wellness routine, with options for dogs across small, medium and large size categories. They are a calming supplement for dogs facing everyday challenges, rather than a promise to change a dog’s personality or guarantee a specific outcome.
