Woolygon Merino Wool Cat Cave, Turtle 20-Inch Foldable Hideaway

Woolygon Merino Wool Cat Cave is a foldable turtle-shaped hideaway made from 100% Merino wool, giving cats a private place to rest with a 20 in (50.8 cm) size.

• 100% Merino wool, without synthetic fibers or harsh chemicals — a natural-fiber resting space for your cat.
• Hand-felted in Nepal by artisans — each cave has its own slight variation in shape and size.
• 20 in (50.8 cm) size; medium is intended for indoor cats up to approximately 10 lb (4.5 kg) — a snug fit for many average-sized cats.
• Designed to hold its shape and pop back into shape — a cave that keeps its form over time.
• Use it as a hideaway or padded mat — gives your cat a different way to rest as temperatures change.

Cats often seek a sheltered spot where they can settle away from activity, as well as a comfortable place to nap. This Woolygon cave is made for both: its enclosed form offers privacy for resting and play, while its flexible use lets it serve as a padded mat on hot days. Natural wool helps regulate comfort, keeping cats warm in colder months and cool when temperatures rise.

What can my cat do in the Woolygon turtle cave?

The cave gives cats a private place to hide, nap, and play, and its top can also serve as a resting bed. For warmer days, it can be used as a padded mat rather than a pod. Wool’s natural properties are intended to help cats and kittens stay cleaner and smell better.

What size cat is the medium cave suited to?

The medium size is intended for average-sized indoor cats up to approximately 10 lb (4.5 kg). Its 20 in (50.8 cm) size is up to 3 in (7.62 cm) larger than other cat caves, giving cats room to settle inside. Handmade wool can vary slightly in shape and size, so each cave has individual dimensions.

What is the cave made from, and how do I clean it?

Woolygon makes the cave from 100% organic Merino wool, without synthetic fibers or harsh chemicals. The wool is individually hand-felted in Nepal by artisans in the Himalayan Valley of Kathmandu, with fair wages and ethical, environmentally friendly working conditions. The felted construction is designed to hold its shape and can be popped back into shape if needed. Clean it with soap and water.

This turtle hideaway suits cat parents looking for a wool resting place that can work as both a sheltered cave and an open mat, particularly for an average-sized indoor cat within the stated weight guidance. Its 100% Merino wool construction, 20 in (50.8 cm) size, and two resting configurations make it a practical fit for that use.
