For dogs that pull on leash, a harness can provide a way to guide them without relying on pressure at the neck and throat. The Freedom harness is made for walks and training sessions, with adjustable straps to fit around your dog’s body and connection points for leash guidance. Its solid teal color gives this Medium version a clear, simple look.

How does the Freedom harness help with leash control?

The harness has two leash connection points, including a sturdy front O-ring, for control and guidance during walks. Its design is intended to reduce strain on the neck and throat, while supporting positive-reinforcement training. The brand says veterinarians and trainers trust this harness.

• Use the connection points to guide your dog during walking or training.
• The front O-ring is the forward leash attachment point.
• Four adjustment points distribute pressure across the harness rather than concentrating it at one adjustment area.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure around the largest part of your dog’s chest with a soft measuring tape, then choose the smallest size that fits within that measurement. This version is Medium (MD), with 1-inch webbing; the Freedom harness is also offered in other sizes and solid colors.

• Measure your dog’s chest at its widest point before choosing a size.
• Adjust the straps to create a secure fit around your dog.
• This listing’s color is teal.

What materials and warranty does it have?

The harness is made in the USA with durable nylon webbing, stainless steel hardware and Swiss Velvet lining. The manufacturer states that the stainless steel hardware will not rust and the webbing will not break from pulling, though the webbing can be chewed. A chewing replacement warranty is included.

• Stainless steel hardware is used for the harness fittings.
• Nylon webbing forms the adjustable straps.
• The replacement warranty specifically addresses chewing.

The 2 Hounds Design Freedom harness suits dog owners looking for an adjustable walking and training harness with a front leash connection and a stated chewing replacement warranty. It is intended for guided walks and positive-reinforcement training, with fit chosen by measuring the largest part of the dog’s chest.
