AZV XLarge Turtle Basking Platform for 18–24 in Aquariums with Grooved Ramp

AZV XLarge Turtle Basking Platform is an above-aquarium dock that gives turtles a separate dry place to bask and fits aquariums 18–24 in wide (45.72–60.96 cm).

• Hangs above the aquarium on two brackets — adds activity space without relying on suction cups.
• Protective panels on all four sides — help contain climbing turtles while keeping them visible.
• Widened panels on both sides — help limit escapes and reduce injury risks.
• Ramp with dense anti-slip grooves — gives turtles added traction when climbing up.
• Separate top basking dock — provides room for large or multiple turtles to climb, bask, rest, and explore.

Turtles need a dry area to climb onto and bask, and a platform mounted above the water can also extend the space available for activity. AZV’s XLarge Turtle Basking Platform is designed for large aquariums and for setups with multiple turtles. Its raised dock creates a distinct dry zone while leaving the aquarium below available for swimming and exploration.

Which aquariums does the AZV XLarge Turtle Basking Platform fit?

It fits 18–24-inch-wide aquariums, including 30 Breeder, 40 Breeder, 60 Breeder, 75-, 90-, 100-, 120-, 125-, 150-, and 180-gallon tanks. Compare the aquarium’s width with the platform’s stated fit range when choosing a setup.

• Designed for large aquarium setups.
• Provides an above-water area for basking and resting.

How does the platform attach above the aquarium?

The platform hangs over the aquarium and is supported by two brackets. This mounting design secures it in place without suction cups, while positioning the basking area above the tank.

• Two brackets support the hanging platform.
• The raised position expands activity space for turtles and fish.

How does the dock help turtles climb and stay on it?

A ramp with dense anti-slip grooves gives turtles added grip as they climb toward the basking area. Protective panels around the platform help keep climbing turtles contained, with widened panels on both sides to help prevent escapes and reduce injury risks.

• Grooved ramp provides traction on the climb.
• Panels on all four sides help protect the platform’s perimeter.

Can you see a turtle from around the aquarium?

Yes. The platform is designed for 360° visibility, so you can observe your turtle from every angle while the four-sided panels help keep it secure.

• Four-sided panel design combines visibility with a protective perimeter.
• The top dock gives turtles space to climb, bask, rest, and explore.

AZV’s XLarge Turtle Basking Platform suits keepers with compatible large aquariums who want a raised, dry basking zone and added room for turtle activity. Its grooved ramp, two-bracket mounting, and protective side panels support access and containment around the dock. It is made for aquarium setups within the stated 18–24-inch width range.
