Coospider-Repta Aquarium Filter, 660 GPH UV Algae Removal for 473–1,514 L Tanks

The Coospider-Repta 660 GPH aquarium filter combines UV algae removal, filtration and water circulation for aquarium tanks, with a 24V DC pump.

• 660 GPH flow and a 24V DC pump for 125–400 gallon tanks — combines water movement with filtration for larger aquariums.
• Four functions: algae removal, wave creation, filtration and water circulation — brings several aquarium functions into one filter.
• UV light and a filtration spacer — target algae and capture fish waste, impurities and other particles; the brand says water can become clear in 3–7 days.
• 14.5 x 3 x 3.5 in (36.8 x 7.6 x 8.9 cm) filter — sized for aquariums with Koi, Cichlids, turtles or corals.
• 24V DC pump designed for outdoor pond use — its low-voltage design is intended to protect pets and reduce short-circuit risk.

This filter is made for aquarium keepers who want to address algae and suspended debris while maintaining water movement. Its combination of UV treatment and a physical filtration spacer serves both water clarity and particle removal, while the circulation and wave-making functions support the tank’s water movement. It is intended for use with larger aquariums and can also be used in an outdoor pond.

How does the Coospider-Repta aquarium filter help with water clarity?

UV light targets algae, while the spacer catches fish waste, impurities and other particles. The spacer-based filtration is designed to capture more debris than traditional filters. The two mechanisms address different sources of cloudy-looking water: algae and particles.

• UV treatment is the algae-removal method.
• The spacer provides physical filtration for visible debris and other particles.
• The brand’s 3–7 day clarity claim is tied to the UV algae-removal function.

What tank size and aquarium types does it suit?

The filter is intended for tanks holding 125–400 gallons and is suitable for Koi, Cichlid, turtle and coral aquariums. Its listed body dimensions are 14.5 x 3 x 3.5 in (36.8 x 7.6 x 8.9 cm), so compare those measurements with the space available in your setup.

• Designed for aquarium capacities from 125 to 400 gallons.
• Suitable for the named fish, turtle and coral aquarium types.
• The compact listed footprint helps you assess placement before choosing a location.

What functions and pump design are included?

The unit combines algae removal, wave creation, filtration and water circulation in one machine. Its 24V DC pump is designed for aquarium filters and outdoor pond use, with a design intended to protect pets and reduce the risk of a short circuit.

• Four functions are combined in one filter unit.
• The pump operates on 24V DC.
• Outdoor pond use is included among the pump’s intended applications.

The Coospider-Repta filter is suited to aquarium keepers looking for combined algae treatment, particle filtration and water movement for a larger tank, including setups for Koi, Cichlids, turtles or corals. Its 24V DC pump and four-function design bring those roles together in a single filter.
