Hygger CO2 5L Aquarium CO2 Generator System with Stainless Steel Bottle

Hygger CO2 Pro 5L Aquarium CO2 Generator System supplies adjustable carbon dioxide to planted aquarium tanks with a 1.5 mm SUS304 stainless steel bottle and a precision needle valve.

• 1.5 mm SUS304 stainless steel bottle, 25% thicker than standard tanks — a durable, high-pressure-resistant alternative to plastic bottle generators.
• Automatic pressure relief at 35–40 bar — releases pressure when it exceeds the set range.
• 12V solenoid valve can be connected to a timer — set when CO2 injection starts and how long it runs.
• Bubble counter with built-in check valve — monitor bubbles and help prevent aquarium water from flowing back into the CO2 tank.
• Kit includes the bottle, regulator, solenoid valve, filter, precision needle valve and adjustable bubble counter — the citric acid and sodium bicarbonate powders are purchased separately.

Planted aquariums need a way to deliver CO2 at a controlled rate. This generator system is designed for aquarium plant tanks where users want to adjust bubble flow and schedule injection, rather than rely on a plastic bottle generator.

What is the Hygger CO2 system designed to do?

It generates CO2 for aquarium plants and lets you regulate how quickly the gas enters the tank. The precision needle valve adjusts the flow, while the bubble counter makes the bubble output visible. Use a timer with the solenoid valve to choose the injection schedule and duration.

• Adjustable CO2 flow through the precision needle valve.
• Visible bubble output in the bubble counter.
• Solenoid valve makes timed injection possible.

What comes with the system, and what do I need separately?

The kit contains a 5L stainless steel bottle, regulator, solenoid valve, filter, precision needle valve and adjustable bubble counter. CO2-generating powders are not included: citric acid and sodium bicarbonate must be obtained separately.

• The bubble counter has a built-in check valve to help block water backflow into the tank.
• Soak the diffuser in aquarium water for 24 hours before use.
• If bubbles do not appear immediately, wait briefly for initial pressure to build; if the issue continues, check tube connections for leaks.

How does the bottle and pressure protection work?

The bottle is made from 1.5 mm SUS304 stainless steel and is 25% thicker than standard tanks. An automatic pressure relief valve activates when pressure rises above 35–40 bar.

• The stainless steel bottle is designed for high-pressure use.
• The motorized valve may make a soft sound when switching on or off; it runs quietly during normal operation.
• Keep the motorized valve away from water to prevent damage.

How can I control CO2 injection?

Connect the 12V solenoid valve to a timer to set injection times and duration, then use the needle valve to adjust the gas flow. The bubble counter helps you observe the output as you tune it.

• Use the timer to control when injection runs.
• Adjust the flow with the precision needle valve.
• Keep the motorized valve dry during operation.

The Hygger CO2 Pro system suits aquarium keepers who want adjustable, timer-controlled CO2 for planted tanks and are prepared to supply the required powders separately. Its stainless steel generator bottle, pressure relief valve and flow-control components bring generation and adjustment together in one kit.
