How does the DFD X2 support a dog while swimming?

Strategically positioned foam panels, including a panel section under the belly, are designed to help keep your dog upright in a natural swimming position. The streamlined vest tapers to the torso to provide flotation while allowing more natural movement. These flotation features make the jacket suited to swimming rather than serving as a restraint for land use.

• Buoyancy panels are placed around the body, including beneath the belly.
• The vest’s profile is streamlined and tapered to the torso.

How does the jacket adjust around the neck and body?

The adjustable top-pull collar is designed for a one-time fit, and buoyant foam in the collar helps support your dog’s neck and head above water. The body of the vest is shaped to follow the torso, supporting a more natural swimming motion. This model is size Large; the product details provide no body measurements for matching it to a particular dog.

• The top-pull collar adjusts to establish the fit.
• Buoyant foam is built into the collar.

How can you handle and secure the jacket?

The DFD X2 is made from tough 1680 denier nylon and fastens for quick putting on and removal. Its reflective piping is intended to improve visibility in low-light conditions, while the strong grab handle gives you a point for lifting or guiding your dog in and out of the water. A sturdy D-ring allows accessory attachment, including an EzyDog Zero Shock Leash.

• Reflective piping provides a visible trim detail.
• The grab handle is positioned for lifting or guiding.
• The D-ring is for attaching accessories; the leash is not identified as included.

The Large yellow EzyDog DFD X2 suits dog owners looking for a swimming vest with body flotation, an adjustable buoyant collar, and practical handling features. Its 1680 denier nylon construction, reflective piping, grab handle, and accessory D-ring bring flotation and handling details together in one dog life jacket.
