For outdoor spaces where a dog needs room to move without someone holding a leash, this retractable tether provides a wall-mounted option for everyday yard time and exercise. It is intended for small to medium-sized dogs and suits settings such as backyards, patios, lawns, gardens, campsites and balconies. Its retracting design keeps the line stored when not in use, while the mounting hardware lets you set it up on a suitable wall.

How much room does the cable give a dog?

The internal cable extends 49.2 ft (15 m), giving a small or medium-sized dog space to roam while attached to a fixed wall point. The 6.1-inch (15.5 cm) shell houses the retractable line. The cable retracts into the shell when it is not being used, helping keep the line from lying across the ground.

• Designed for small to medium-sized dogs.
• Suitable for yards, campsites and balconies.

How does the tether help prevent tangles outdoors?

A 360° swivel double-layer metal hook connects the cable to a collar or harness and turns as the dog moves. The hook is made from thickened alloy designed to resist bending and breaking, while its swivel action helps prevent knots when a dog runs or spins. The shell is thickened ABS, and the pull-resistant cable is PVC; the construction is waterproof and weather-resistant for outdoor conditions.

• Hook attaches to collars and harnesses.
• Auto-retracting storage helps reduce tripping hazards when the cable is put away.

What comes with the wall mount, and where can it be installed?

The Faelhacon tie-out comes with a metal bracket, screws and a wall anchor for mounting on wood, brick or concrete. One person can set it up using the included accessories. Choose a suitable wall location in the outdoor area where you want the tether to operate.

• Mounting surfaces: wood, brick or concrete.
• The cable can also be used as a clothesline for camping or balcony drying.

This tether suits dog owners who want a fixed outdoor attachment point that lets a small or medium-sized dog move without the owner holding the leash continuously. It is designed for wall-mounted use and can also serve as a retractable clothesline for camping or balcony drying. Its 49.2 ft internal cable, auto-retracting shell and included wall-mount hardware bring those uses together in one unit.
