Lixit Large Retractable Dog Tie-Out, Bracket Mount, 1-Pack with 4.6 m Cable

The Lixit Large Retractable Dog Tie-Out is a bracket-mounted leash system that gives dogs room to move, with a 15-foot braided, coated steel cable and a rotating housing.

• 15-foot braided, coated steel cable — gives your dog a defined roaming area.
• 360-degree rotating housing — lets the cable move around the tie-out as your dog changes direction.
• Automatic cable retraction — draws the leash back into its housing to help prevent tangling.
• Mounting bracket — secures the tie-out to a suitable fixed surface such as a deck, post, house exterior, or RV.
• Reflective housing sticker — helps make the reel easier to notice at night.

For outdoor time at home or beside an RV, this tie-out provides a fixed point for a dog’s leash while allowing movement within the cable’s reach. The Large bracket version is supplied as one tie-out. Its retracting cable and rotating housing are built into the unit, so the leash can extend and return as the dog moves.

How much room does the Lixit tie-out give a dog?

The cable extends 15 feet (4.6 m), and the rotating housing provides a stated roaming area of 706 square feet (65.6 square meters). This gives a dog space to move around its secured mounting point while remaining connected to the tie-out. The cable is braided steel with a protective coating.

Where can the Lixit bracket tie-out be mounted?

The bracket is made to attach to a secure surface, including a deck, post, the side of a house, or an RV. Mount the bracket to a fixed surface that can securely hold the tie-out; the product is a bracket-mounted model.

How does the retractable leash work, and what size is this?

The cable automatically winds into the housing when it is not extended, helping keep the leash from tangling. The housing turns through 360 degrees as the dog moves. This product is the Large size; the 15-to-30-pound (6.8-to-13.6-kilogram) recommendation in the product range applies to the small size, not this Large version.

• Automatic cable rewind into the housing
• Reflective sticker on the housing to help owners see it at night

The Lixit Large Bracket Retractable Dog Tie-Out suits owners who want a fixed outdoor leash point with cable movement and automatic retraction. It is intended for mounting to a secure surface rather than use as a free-standing tie-out, and its bracket, rotating housing, and coated steel cable work together as one system.
