• Patented brake system — gives the handler a way to stop or adjust the leash.
• 360° tape guidance — directs tape as it extends and retracts.
• Designed for durability and put through rigorous testing — made for regular walks and outings.
• Designed and produced at FLEXI’s family business in Bargteheide, Germany — connects the leash to the company’s German manufacturing base.

For walks where a dog benefits from more movement than a fixed-length lead allows, a retractable tape leash offers adjustable reach while keeping a handler in control. This FLEXI model pairs a tape leash with a brake and guided extension, making it suited to everyday walks and outings where a dog can move around within the leash’s available length. Its Large size and stated tape length help shoppers identify the model at a glance.

How much room does the FLEXI Classic Tape leash provide?

The FLEXI Classic Tape Retractable Dog Leash has 16 ft (4.9 m) of tape and is made in a Large size. The retractable design lets the tape extend and return as your dog moves, so the available reach can change during a walk. The leash is intended for dogs and is offered in a size range designed to serve different breeds and temperaments; this particular model is the Large version.

• Red leash for easy identification among the available FLEXI leash models.
• Retractable tape gives your dog freedom to move within the leash’s reach.

How does the brake and tape guidance work?

The patented brake system is designed to help you stop the leash or make a quick adjustment, while the 360° tape guidance manages tape movement. FLEXI’s guidance system is designed to help prevent tangling and support smooth handling as the tape extends and retracts. Together, these features offer a way to manage leash movement during a walk without treating the tape as a fixed-length lead.

• The brake supports control during a sudden stop or quick maneuver.
• The guidance system helps the tape move without tangling.
