FUAMEY Dog Recovery Sleeve with Elbow Protector, Black Stripes 2XL, Padded Coverage

FUAMEY Dog Recovery Sleeve with Elbow Protector is a black-striped 2XL dog recovery garment designed to protect front-leg joints, with thickened elbow padding and an open underside.

• Thickened elbow area — cushions and protects your dog’s joints.
• Front-knee protection — helps guard against licking and further aggravation.
• Genitals remain uncovered — supports free toileting while dressed.
• Indoor and outdoor use — works as home pajamas or a layer to protect skin from dust.
• For medium and large dogs — use the product page’s weight recommendation to choose a size.

Dogs’ front-leg joints have little fat and muscle around them, and repeated stair use or rubbing against the floor can leave these areas exposed to injury and irritation. This recovery sleeve is made for front-leg coverage at home and during outdoor wear, with an elbow area designed to cushion the joint. Its black stripes give the 2XL garment a clear, recognizable look.

How does the sleeve protect a dog’s front legs?

The garment covers the front-leg joint area, while its thickened elbow position adds cushioning around the elbow. It is designed to help protect the knees from licking and aggravation, including when a dog spends time going up and down stairs or rubbing on the floor. These are the everyday situations the sleeve is intended to address; it is a protective garment, not a treatment for joint disease.

• Front-leg joints have little fat and muscle around them.
• Repeated stair use and floor rubbing are the specific activities highlighted for joint protection.

How do you put it on, and can a dog toilet while wearing it?

Put the dog’s head through first, then guide the front legs into the garment. The sleeve does not cover the genitals, so the dog can go to the toilet without removing it. This design keeps the dressing process focused on the head and front legs while leaving the toileting area open.

• Dress the head first.
• Place both front legs into the garment after the head.

What can a dog wear the sleeve for?

FUAMEY’s recovery sleeve can be used for front-leg protection and as everyday dog clothing. At home, it can serve as dog pajamas; outdoors, it can help protect the dog’s skin from dust. The same garment is intended for both settings, so its use is not limited to recovery time.

• At home: use it as dog pajamas.
• Outdoors: use it as a layer against dust on the skin.

Which dogs is the 2XL size intended for?

This recovery sleeve is suitable for medium and large dogs. Choose a size using the weight recommendation on the product page, as the available information does not provide a specific weight range for 2XL. The stated fit guidance does not include small dogs.

• Product size: 2XL.
• Intended dog sizes: medium and large.

FUAMEY Dog Recovery Sleeve with Elbow Protector is suited to medium and large dogs that need front-leg coverage for daily wear, indoor use, or outdoor protection from dust. Its thickened elbow area and uncovered toileting area make it a front-leg garment designed for practical wear.
