This harness is made for walking small dogs, including dogs that may try to slip out of a harness. Its step-in format and back-focused design address two practical parts of getting ready for a walk: putting the harness on and achieving a close fit. Use your dog’s weight as one guide, and take a chest measurement to help assess fit before use.

How does the Escape Free design help keep a dog in the harness?

The design reduces the space around the dog’s back, making it harder for a small dog to escape during walks. Fit is important to how the design works: when you pull the harness fully, there should be no gap. This check helps you assess whether the harness is sitting closely rather than leaving room for your dog to back out.

• Pull the harness fully to check the fit.
• Look for a gap at the back; the fit check calls for no gap.

How do I choose the right fit for my dog?

Gooby Escape Free Easy Fit is made for dogs weighing up to 35 lb. Measure around the largest part of your dog’s chest to help select a suitable fit and support the harness’s intended function. The weight limit and chest measurement offer practical fit checks for small-dog owners.

• Measure the largest part of the chest.
• Use the stated maximum weight of 35 lb as a fit limit.

How do you put on and care for this harness?

The step-in design lets your dog slip its paws into the harness, after which you fasten it. For cleaning, machine wash in cold water and hang dry. The frame is lightweight, and the leash ring is made from durable POM plastic. Gooby’s patented design is intended to provide comfort and reliability.

• Put the dog’s paws through the step-in opening before fastening.
• Hang the harness to dry after a cold machine wash.

This small purple harness suits owners looking for a step-in option for walks with dogs up to 35 lb, especially when a close back fit is a priority. It is designed for small dogs, with chest measurement and the no-gap fit check helping guide use.
