Halti Headcollar for Small Dogs, Size 1 Black, Reflective No-Pull Training

Halti Size 1 Black Headcollar is a training headcollar for small dogs, designed to help prevent leash pulling through gentle head guidance.

• Patented head-guiding design — helps direct your dog’s movement during leash training.
• Strong, lightweight nylon webbing and a padded neoprene noseband — designed with comfort in mind.
• Designed not to interfere with panting, eating or drinking — your dog can carry on with these normal activities while wearing it.
• Reflective accents and a safety link that attaches to your dog’s collar — add visibility in low light and a collar connection.
• Six available sizes — the range offers sizing options for different breeds and sizes of dogs.
• For passive pulling prevention or active training — it can also be used with the double-clip Halti Training Leash.

Leash pulling can make walks harder to manage and training less practical. The Halti Headcollar is made for leash walking and behavior training, using gentle guidance to help you direct your dog rather than relying on leash tension alone. Its Size 1 fit is intended for small dogs.

How does the Halti Headcollar help with leash pulling?

It gently steers your dog’s head to guide the direction of movement. This patented design is intended to help prevent pulling and give you more control during walks. Use it as a passive aid to discourage pulling or as an active part of training and behavior modification.

• Created for leash training and practical, controlled walks.
• Can be used for behavior modification as well as everyday pulling prevention.

Can my dog pant, eat and drink while wearing it?

Yes. The headcollar has a padded neoprene noseband, and its design allows dogs to pant, eat and drink. Strong, lightweight nylon webbing forms the headcollar, while the soft materials and construction are intended to support comfortable wear. In many dogs, the design can also create a calming effect.

• Reflective accents improve visibility in low-light conditions.
• The safety link connects the headcollar to your dog’s collar.

Who created the Halti Headcollar?

Animal behaviorist and activist Dr. Roger Mugford invented the Halti Headcollar in 1979. Halti created the first headcollar for dogs and has worked on leash-pulling problems for over 40 years. Vets, trainers and canine professionals approve and recommend the headcollar, and millions have been sold worldwide.

• The product range comes in six sizes for dogs of different breeds and sizes.
• For a combined no-pull training setup, pair it with the double-clip Halti Training Leash.

This Size 1 black headcollar suits small-dog owners who want a head-guiding aid for leash walks and training. It is designed for steering and pulling prevention, with a padded noseband, reflective details and a safety link to the dog’s collar.
