These bottles are made for caregivers who want to provide drinking water in a small animal wire home. The set combines a sipper tube with a refill reminder, helping make water provision and checking part of an everyday pet-care routine. Its stated animal uses include several common small pets, as well as other small animals.
Which small animals are these bottles for?
Kaytee makes this bottle set for rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, chinchillas and other small animals. It is intended for use as a water source in a small animal wire home, rather than as a general-purpose bottle for people or other uses.
- Suitable animal types: rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs and chinchillas.
- The stated fit also includes other small animals.
How does the bottle attach, and what does the sipper do?
The included spring attachment hanger secures each bottle to a small animal wire home. The drip-resistant sipper tube is designed to limit water waste and help keep the pet’s home clean and dry.
- Attachment type: spring hanger.
- Water access: sipper tube.
How can I tell when it is time to refill?
A floating duck inside the bottle acts as a visual reminder for the owner to refill the water. This makes the refill cue easy to notice during routine checks of the pet’s water.
- Refill reminder: floating duck.
- Set contents: two water bottles, each with a 16-ounce capacity (473 mL).
This set suits caregivers looking for a bottle-based water option for small pets housed in wire homes, with a visual cue to prompt refilling. Its two-bottle format and spring attachment hanger make it a defined choice for that setup.
