How does the Kurgo Tru-Fit work in a car?

The Kurgo Tru-Fit connects to a vehicle seat belt system using its included 10 in (25.4 cm) seatbelt tether and carabiner. It is compatible with any vehicle seat belt system. The harness’s crash testing applies to dogs up to 75 lb (34 kg), and its safety engineering draws on harness designs used by rock climbers and linesmen.

• Seatbelt tether with carabiner included.
• Designed for use with any vehicle seat belt system.

Will the medium fit my dog?

Medium fits dogs with a neck measurement of 16–25 in (40.6–63.5 cm) and a chest measurement of 18–28 in (45.7–71.1 cm). Measure your dog’s neck and chest, then compare those measurements with Kurgo’s size chart to choose the fit. Five adjustment points allow the straps to be adjusted around your dog’s proportions.

• Medium size: neck 16–25 in (40.6–63.5 cm).
• Medium size: chest 18–28 in (45.7–71.1 cm).

Can I use it for walks and training?

Yes. The Kurgo Tru-Fit has leash attachment points on the front and back, so it can also be used as an everyday walking harness. The front No-Pull D-ring is intended for training a dog not to pull, while the back attachment provides another leash connection point. Its padded chest plate is designed for comfort during everyday wear as well as added protection in the car.

• Front No-Pull D-ring for leash training.
• Machine washable for routine cleaning.

The Kurgo Enhanced Strength Tru-Fit Smart Harness suits dog owners looking for a medium harness for car travel, walks, and leash training. Its vehicle connection, adjustable fit, and two leash points support these different uses in one harness, with crash testing for dogs up to 75 lb (34 kg).
