Mayerzon Dog Muzzle for Large and Medium Dogs, Adjustable PVC Basket Design

Mayerzon Pitbull Dog Muzzle is a PVC basket muzzle designed to help prevent biting, scavenging and chewing, with two sizes and adjustable overhead and neck straps.

• Two sizes for large and medium dogs — choose a closer fit for dogs such as Pitbulls and Rottweilers.
• Adjustable overhead and neck straps — use the sliding buckles to fine-tune the fit.
• PVC basket design — allows dogs to breathe and drink while wearing the muzzle.
• Designed to prevent biting, scavenging and chewing — adds a practical aid during everyday activities.
• Smooth PVC surface — may reduce the possibility of skin cuts compared with leather muzzles.

Some dogs need extra management around other people, during grooming or at the veterinary clinic. This basket muzzle is made for those situations as well as daily walks, with an open design intended to let a dog breathe and drink while muzzled. A muzzle is a supplementary tool, not a replacement for professional help with severe biting behavior.

What behaviors is the Mayerzon dog muzzle designed to help manage?

The Mayerzon basket muzzle is designed to help prevent biting, scavenging and chewing. Its fully covered basket provides a barrier while allowing breathing and drinking, making it useful in situations where a dog may pick things up or chew.

• Suitable for use on walks, during grooming and at veterinary visits.
• For severe biting behavior, work with a professional dog trainer.

How do I adjust the fit of the Mayerzon muzzle?

The Mayerzon muzzle has an overhead strap and a neck strap, both adjusted with sliding buckles. Their sliding adjustment provides a finer range of fit changes than traditional buckle adjustments. The muzzle comes in two sizes; measure your dog before choosing a size to help find a suitable fit.

• Adjust the overhead strap and neck strap using their sliding buckles.
• Made for large and medium dogs, including Pitbulls and Rottweilers.

Can a dog breathe and drink while wearing this basket muzzle?

Yes, the Mayerzon basket design allows a dog to breathe and drink while wearing it. The muzzle is made from PVC with a smooth surface; compared with leather muzzles, that surface may reduce the possibility of skin cuts. Always supervise a dog wearing a muzzle, as stress can create potential risks.

• Do not leave a muzzled dog unattended.
• Keep children away from dogs showing aggression or anxiety, even when the dogs are muzzled.

The Mayerzon muzzle suits owners of large or medium dogs who want a basket-style aid for walks, grooming or veterinary visits and need adjustable straps. It is intended to help manage biting, scavenging and chewing while allowing breathing and drinking, with supervision throughout use.
