For a pet owner heading to the vet, walking around town, or planning a hike, carrying a pet can require room for the animal as well as a way to bring everyday supplies. PetAmi’s backpack is made for outings such as hiking, camping, cycling, dog walking, road trips, and travel. Its pet compartment includes a bed, while storage pockets and a collapsible bowl make space for useful pet essentials.

What size pet can fit in the PetAmi Dog Backpack Carrier?

The carrier supports pets up to 18 lb (8.2 kg), and its interior dimensions are 12.5 x 10.2 x 16.3 in (31.8 x 25.9 x 41.4 cm). It is designed for small and medium dogs, medium and large cats, rabbits, and other pets within the weight limit. Compare your pet’s size with the carrier’s measurements as well as its weight before choosing; the stated maximum weight does not replace the need for a suitable fit.

• Two entry points let a pet enter from either side.
• A mesh window zips open to provide extra headroom and visibility.
• A bed is included inside the pet compartment.

How does the carrier support comfort and security?

The PetAmi Dog Backpack Carrier combines airflow panels with a mesh window and thick sherpa-lined bedding for the pet. A firm frame is designed to hold its shape rather than collapse onto the pet during travel or outdoor activities. The safety strap and buckle secure the pet inside the carrier to help prevent escape.

• The back panel and shoulder straps have extra-thick padding.
• Chest and waist buckles provide additional support for the wearer.
• The mesh window opens for more headroom and visibility.

What can I carry along with my pet?

PetAmi’s backpack has storage for pet supplies as well as the pet compartment. Side pouches and a front pocket hold essentials, and a collapsible pet bowl is included for hydration during an outing. This arrangement suits trips when you want the pet carrier and a few pet-care items together in one backpack.

• Side pouches provide additional storage.
• A front pocket holds small essentials and supplies.
• The collapsible bowl is included with the backpack.

Is this backpack made for hiking and air travel?

Yes, the PetAmi Dog Backpack Carrier is designed for activities including hiking, camping, cycling, walking, road trips, and airplane travel. It is identified as TSA approved and airline approved, and its firm structure is intended to stay open around the pet. Airline requirements can vary, so confirm that the carrier’s dimensions meet the rules for your specific trip.

• 600D polyester is the stated carrier material.
• The dark grey option is one of the available color choices.
• The carrier is also suited to visits such as trips to the vet.

This backpack is suited to owners who want to carry a cat, rabbit, or small to medium dog within the 18 lb limit on walks, outdoor outings, or trips. Its measured compartment, two-way access, padded wearer straps, and included collapsible bowl make it a travel carrier with room for selected pet essentials, rather than a carrier for pets above its stated weight limit.
