Surgi~Snuggly is a post-surgery recovery suit for male and female dogs, with the XLL size fitting spines 23–26 in (58.4–66 cm).

• Made for spay and neuter recovery in male and female dogs — covers the intended post-surgery use.
• Opens at the back and allows pee and poo breaks — no snaps, zippers, or cutting holes required.
• Soft, stretchable, custom-milled fabric — lets dogs move comfortably while wearing the suit.
• Available in 14 sizes and 7 colors — offers options for dogs with different body shapes.
• Founded in 2008 by veterinarian Dr. Paul O. Williams and his wife — shaped by more than 40 years of veterinary experience.

After surgery, dogs need a way to protect their recovery while still moving and taking bathroom breaks. Surgi~Snuggly is designed as a wearable alternative to a traditional e-collar or cone, for dogs recovering from spay or neuter procedures.

How does the Surgi~Snuggly support post-surgery recovery?

The suit provides a wearable covering for dogs after spay or neuter surgery. Veterinarian-invented and veterinary-approved, it is also used by veterinarians and pet owners as a practical recovery option. The breathable stretch textile is designed to support comfortable movement, and its clean fabric is intended to avoid funk and smells.

• Designed for both male and female dogs.
• Created as an alternative to a traditional cone or e-collar.

How do I choose the XLL size?

The XLL, or Xtra Large Long, size fits a dog with a spine measurement of 23–26 in (58.4–66 cm). Surgi~Snuggly’s WaGS sizing system considers spine, girth, and weight measurements, so use the spine range as the key comparison for this size. The range identifies the suit’s intended spine fit.

• XLL means Xtra Large Long.
• The sizing system considers three measurements: spine, girth, and weight.

Can a dog use the bathroom while wearing the suit?

Yes, the back-opening design accommodates pee and poo breaks. Open the back to put the suit on; the design does not require fasteners or a cut-out for bathroom access. This makes the suit suitable for regular wear during recovery routines.

• No snaps or zippers to manage.
• No need to cut holes in the fabric.

Surgi~Snuggly suits dog owners looking for a recovery garment for a male or female dog after spay or neuter surgery, especially when a wearable option is preferred to a cone. Its XLL size is intended for dogs with spines from 23–26 in (58.4–66 cm), and its back-opening design accommodates bathroom breaks.
