URPOWER Dog Car Seat Extender, Large Hard-Bottom Waterproof Back Seat Cover

URPOWER Back Seat Extender is a hard-bottom dog car seat cover that turns your rear seat into a dog bed, with a 52" x 24.8" (132.1 x 63 cm) base designed to fit sedans and full-size SUVs.

• Three reinforced load-bearing plates support up to 550 lb (249 kg) — create an extended resting space for dogs in the back seat.
• Designed to increase safe space by 45% — give dogs more room to stretch or lie down on car rides.
• Nine-layer construction with a 35D sponge layer — add padding beneath your dog.
• Waterproof 900D Oxford material — help shield the seat and doors from mud, liquid, hair, and scratches.
• Included dog seat belt, seat anchors, and non-slip backing — help keep the setup in place and your dog secured.

Dogs that need more room to settle in the car can use the rear seat as a broader resting area with this hard-bottom extender. It is made for long drives and families travelling with large, older, or multiple dogs. Zippered side flaps help prevent dogs from falling into the footwell while covering the seat sides and doors.

How does the extender make a dog bed in the back seat?

The hard bottom spans the rear seating area to create a flatter place for dogs to stretch out or lie down. The three reinforced plates are designed to support up to 550 lb (249 kg), and the extended bed is intended to provide 45% more safe space. It can accommodate two large-breed dogs, making it useful when more than one dog travels with the family.

• Suitable for families with large dogs, elderly dogs, or multiple dogs.
• Designed for dogs to rest during long car rides.

What provides cushioning and protects the car interior?

The extender has nine layers, including a 35D sponge layer, for a padded surface under your dog. Its padded hard bottom is designed to reduce joint pressure compared with a single-layer thin-board design. The waterproof 900D Oxford cover helps protect the back seat and doors from scratches, mud, liquid, and pet hair.

• A non-woven fabric layer can be removed for deep cleaning.
• Wipe the Oxford material with a damp cloth or clean it with a vacuum.
• The material is made without a strong smell and is intended for use around pets and children.

How does it help keep a dog secure while travelling?

The included dog seat belt can be used to secure your dog, while the zippered side flaps help block access to the space beside the seat. Two Velcro seatbelt openings, seat anchors, and a non-slip backing are built into the cover. A mesh window lets pets see the people in the front of the car, which is designed to help relieve road anxiety.

• Heavy-duty headrest straps and buckles attach the cover at the headrests.
• Two storage pockets hold dog toys, treats, and other pet essentials.

Will the hard-bottom extender fit your vehicle?

The hard bottom measures 52" x 24.8" (132.1 x 63 cm) and is made to fit sedans and full-size SUVs. Compare those dimensions with your rear seating area when choosing a cover. The extender arrives fully assembled, so there is no assembly step before use.

• The base is made from thickened PP hollow board rather than a wood base.
• The cover uses a durable zipper and removable fabric layer.

URPOWER Back Seat Extender suits households that want to give large, older, or multiple dogs a padded, expanded place to rest during car journeys while helping protect the rear seat and doors. Its hard bottom, fitted safety features, and specified sedan and full-size SUV fit make it a practical choice for dogs travelling in the back seat.
