Wilderdog Lightweight Dog Harness, Large Huckleberry with Reflective Straps and Dual Leash Clips

Wilderdog’s Lightweight Dog Harness is a breathable harness for everyday walks and trail outings; the Large size weighs 8 oz (227 g) and has a shorter cut designed for airflow.

• Reflective stripes — add visibility to the harness.
• Two D-ring attachment points at the chest and back — offer a choice of leash connection positions.
• Adjustable neck and shoulder straps — let you tailor the fit.
• Two side-release buckles — secure the harness at the chest.
• A top handle — gives you a place to hold your dog close or help them over an obstacle.

For walks around the neighborhood or time on rugged trails, this harness combines leash-attachment options with a design made for movement outdoors. It is also suited to camping and backpacking trips. The over-the-head style and clip-in chest buckles make it practical to put on without lifting your dog’s paws, while the adjustable straps help you set a snug, comfortable fit.

How do the leash attachments and handle work?

The harness has one D-ring on the chest and another on the back, so you can attach a leash at either point. A handle sits on top of the harness, providing a place to hold your dog close or give them a boost over boulders. Reflective stripes are incorporated into the design for added visibility.

• Choose between a chest or back leash connection.
• Use the top handle when you need a closer hold or assistance over an obstacle.

How do I get the fit right?

Adjust the neck and shoulder straps until the harness sits snugly and comfortably. Wilderdog’s shorter-cut design is intended to support breathability; leave enough space between your dog’s armpit and the straps. A good fit should feel secure without pressing the straps into that area.

• Check the clearance between the straps and your dog’s armpit.
• Readjust both the neck and shoulder straps to settle the harness comfortably.

How do I put on the Wilderdog harness?

Slip the harness over your dog’s head, then fasten the two side-release buckles at the chest. This donning method keeps all four paws on the ground while you secure the harness.

• Place the harness over the head first.
• Clip both buckles at the chest before heading out.

This Large Huckleberry harness suits dog owners looking for a lightweight option for daily walks, trail outings, and outdoor trips, with adjustable straps and more than one leash-attachment position. Its 8 oz (227 g) weight and shorter-cut design make it a breathable choice for walking and hiking use.
