Pets may aggravate a healing wound by licking, biting, or scratching at it. This recovery collar creates a barrier for pets after surgery or an injury, and can also help prevent biting during dermatology, grooming, or surgical procedures. Some dogs may feel uncomfortable with a cone at first, so calm company and reassurance can help them through the adjustment.

What does the Supet Dog Cone Collar help prevent?

It is designed to help stop pets from reaching wounds or injuries to lick, bite, or scratch them. Limiting access can help interrupt the lick-bite and itch-scratch cycle and reduce self-inflicted aggravation during healing. The collar can also help prevent a pet from biting others during dermatology, grooming, or surgical procedures.

• Made for recovery after a wound, injury, or procedure.
• Creates a barrier between a pet’s mouth and the affected area.

How do I choose a size for my pet?

The collar is intended for dogs and cats across different ages and sizes; use the product’s size chart to choose a suitable option. Measure your pet and compare the result with the chart before ordering. If your pet’s measurement is close to the maximum for a size, choose the next size up.

• The product title covers small, medium, and large dogs.
• Size selection depends on your pet’s measurement and the size chart.

How does the collar fasten, and how do I care for it?

A hook-and-loop fastening lets you tighten or loosen the collar around your pet. The closure is designed to help keep it in place and reduce the chance of it being pulled off or falling off. PVC forms the collar, while a soft fabric edge adds comfort and protection; the lightweight construction is intended not to tire pets, and the collar is easy to clean.

• Adjust the closure to secure the collar.
• The fabric edge is provided for added comfort and protection.

This collar suits pet owners supporting a dog or cat through wound, injury, or procedure recovery, including pets that need a barrier against licking or biting. Keep in mind that some dogs may initially find wearing a cone uncomfortable; comfort and companionship can help during this period. Its adjustable fastening, PVC construction, and soft fabric edge make it a recovery collar for pets that need restricted access to a healing area.
